Another rigorous test passed: Gold medal for PKV sustainability
In the globally recognized EcoVadis rating for sustainability performance, PKV received the gold medal for its activities and progress in 2024 – an award for the top five percent of all companies assessed.
The fourth successful EcoVadis assessment in a row recognizes PKV’s commitment and progress in various areas of sustainability. The company was once again able to secure an excellent position among all participants.

EcoVadis has analyzed more than 150,000 companies from 185 countries in the fields of sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) since 2007. Overall, PKV currently performs as well as or better than 97 percent of all companies assessed within 12 months in this comparison. Due to the steadily increasing number of participants, the point rankings for medals are changing – PKV has been awarded a gold medal for 2024; in the previous year, the almost identical point performance was assessed with a platinum medal. The EcoVadis methodology is based on international sustainability standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact and ISO 26000. Each participating company is assessed on the basis of 21 indicators in four areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
